| Abstract: | Determination of compacted dry density of earth dam and earth levee by import or domestic nuclear densimeter has the advantages of simple and speedy operation. But after the field check experiments for determination of dry density with different soil qualities by nuclear densimeter and cutting ring, it is proved that verifying by the cutting ring method is necessary and important as detecting the dry density of soil by nuclear densimeter. |
