| Abstract: | Reading is the most direct and effective way by which students can acquire language knowledge and develop competence,and the teaching of reading constitutes a very important part of foreign language teaching.As a new theory on verbal communication,relevance theory of pragmatics is of great significance in guiding English reading teaching. |
