Optimization scheduling methods of active power in power market environment

Safe and economic operation of power system is an important problem. With the power generation side of the open electricity market, the traditional method of active power optimization is difficult to adapt to the current market environment. This article carrys out a comprehensive analysis from both sides of the scheduling model and optimization algorithm. It sums up the mathematical model of active power optimization, optimization algorithms and its major achievements in power market environment. It also points out the advantages and dis- advantages of various algorithms.
