分布式网络协议分析系统的设计与实现

本文给出了一个分布式网络协议分析系统的设计与实现，记叙比试在于通用的网络管理框架设计，具有分布式的数据采集与集中式的数据分析的特点，可以实现多子网企业内部网的分布式协议分析功能。

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DISTRIBUTED PROTOCOL ANALYZING SYS TEM

Protocol analyzing is very helpful in fault management, performance management and account management. This paper describes the design and implementation of a distributed protocol analyzing system. The system is designed based on network management framework, and can be used as a useful tool to manage and monitor the enterprise networks with multiple subnets. The system consists of two main components: protocol analyzing center and packet capturing agent, the latter captures network packet using libpcap and put the data into RMON MIB, the former collects the packets from the agents with SNMP protocol and make further protocol analyzing. The system can be used alone or integrated together with a network management system.
