All-purpose Interactive Mode CAPP System Design Based on PDM

This paper has intrduced a type Of CAPP system based on PDM. The system can set up parts product catalog tree based on parts chart and fiting up chart. Product catalog bee includes at least three layer: products and components and parts. We can easy design or change or edit or query some products or components or parts' process files by product catalog tree type and all the command of CAPP ground on it, and its parts' number as prime key, all the process sheets of parts can be designed. The system bases on big database and supports network and many user can operate simultaneity. By different permission, process department can process planning, man-hour count department can count man-hour quantum, material provide department can count material quantum, so that the system comes true all-purpose CAPP.
