| Abstract: | The meaning of insubstantial scene in landscape architecture is very extensive. Through classical poems and the theories and concrete examples of the traditional landscape architecture, the article discusses the space, light and shade, sound and fragrance by the way of showing grandeur through smallness. It tries to explore the mystery of insubstantial landscape, and extend appreciating eyeshot. It also criticizes the shortcomings of emphasizing substantial rather than insubstantial scene in modern landscape architecture. |
