Replication Technology of Micro-channel of Polymer Microfludic Chips

The importance of replication methods in the batch process of microfluidic chips is illustrated.The requirements of the microfluidic chips for the material was analyzed,and the polymers from which the microfludic chips were made and their mouldability were introduced.The processing method common used for the master of the replication methods now were compared.The applications of hot embossing,injection molding and casting to the molding of the micro-channel in microfludic chips were reviewed and compared.The developing trend of the repli- cation methods in the future is predicted.
