Abstract:The adsorption of sulfate ions and nitrate ions onto surfactant-modified palygorskite both in single component system and two competitive system were studied and the modifying and anions adsorbing mechanisms of surfactant-modified palygorskite were proposed.The results showed that SO2-4 had a more adsorptive capacity than NO-3,and both of them are fitted to not only Freundlich isotherm but also Langmuir isotherm,while only Langmuir Competitive Adsorption(LCA) can be fitted in two competitive system and can ...
