| Abstract: | Multi-storeyed brick and concrete structures have bad entirety rigidity and inferior anti-seismic performance. In this paper, many problems in designing, such as ultrahigh height of buildings, hole in the longitudinal wall, girth, structural column and strength of mortar are discussed. Structural measures adopted in designing are given to improve the quality both in designing and construction, and to reduce damage caused by earthquake to the minimum. |
