| Abstract: | The glass fiber reinforced plastic protecting tube for cable has many characteristics such as light material and high hardness, anti-corrode, long service life, convenient for construction, lower cost and better efficiency etc., which is the ideal protection unit for lots of cable engineering. The general condition of the glass fiber reinforced plastic tube is introduced. The performance of glass fiber reinforced plastic tube is compared with that of zinc coated steel tube. The technical standard and installing method of the glass fiber reinforced plastic tube is introduced. It is proved that the glass fiber reinforced plastic tube for cable has a broad prospect of development because of its fine performance. |
