Abstract:To improve the treatment efficiency of sewerage treatment plant in northern area in winter,the impact of psychrotrophs on low-temperature A2/O process,and the corresponding efficiency at normal temperature(about23℃),low temperature(about12℃) and low temperature dosing with psychrotrophs was investigated.The average COD effluent concentrations under the three condition was 25.04 mg/L,45.36 mg/L and 28.69 mg/L respectively,the average NH3-N effluent concentrations were 1.25 mg/L,8.59 mg/L and 3.46 mg/L,and the average TN effluent concentrations were 11.67 mg/L,27.66 mg/L and 14.13 mg/L,and the average TP effluent concentrations were 0.18 mg/L,0.36 mg/L and 0.18 mg/L respectively.The results showed that low-temperature reduced the treatment effect of A2/O process,especailly the denitrification,but less inhibition on dephosphorization was observed.The treatment efficiency of organic matters,nitrogen and phosphorus in A2/O process could be improved obviously by dosing psychrotrophs.
