| Abstract: | By comparison and analysis on an example from chemical plant with the practical instruction on functional safety evaluation technology, it concludes that this technology can adopt in a project or safety lift cycle of an ex product to indicate the measures to be taken in order to solve the safety hidden danger or faults which may present in the explosion protection electrical system in service. Thus, it is a significant of improvement on the protective functions of these systems, especially increase the level of intrinsically safe in explosion protection electrical system with the exact calculated data. |
