Abstract: | We studied the mechanisms of perturbation of the stratosphere by jet exhausts of rocket vehicles and regularities of the recovery
of the stratospheric parameters. Asymptotic methods are used to analyze different scenarios of noncatastrophic ozone destruction,
one of which is identified as a real mechanism of perturbation of the stratospheric photochemistry during launches of liquid-fuel
rockets. Models of the turbulent diffusion of rocket plume and parameters of the initial perturbation are refined. The results
of the work markedly increase the realism of the corresponding computer models. |
