| Abstract: | With two design cases, the article makes a discussion on the interactive relationship between the urban design and architectural design in the integrated design process. It points out that both the urban designers and the architects should not only keep on their independence and continuity, but also try to achieve the harmonious coexistence of city, architecture, and environment by the middle field between the urban design and the architectural design. |
