谁的大学

大学从历史及本性上看是“自己”的，但从财产形式及中国社会的实践上看却是“政府的”。大学如果成为政府的工具和附庸，则可能堕变为以行政原则和逻辑为核心的行政机构，既无法产生大学应然的功能、价值和意义，又无法使大学产生实质性的发展和进步。促使大学由“政府的”转变为“自己的”，是中国大学发展的理性选择。

Whose University

University belongs to itself considering its history and its development.But actually it is of the government regarding the ownership of its estate and its social practice in China.In this way,an university may be degraded into an administration department.It can hardly generate its real function,value and significance,nor can it achieve real improvement or progress.The rational choice for the development of Chinese university is to promote the change from the government administration to self-administration.
