| 摘 要： | 程序设计基础课程是大学非计算机专业学生的公共基础课程，选修该课程的学生绝大多数未接触过程序设计语言，计算机编程实践能力相对较弱。文章对程序设计基础课程的教学方法、教学手段及考核评价方式作了系统探讨，内容包括教学组织与实验内容，培养学生的自主学习与探索创新能力，采用灵活多样的教学方式、规范考核方式等；提出了基于能力培养的程序设计基础课程教学的理念，并通过教学实践有效地培养了学生的动手能力、分析问题和解决问题的能力，取得了较好的教学效果，为研究型本科教学进行了有益的探索。
