Theoretical Study on Quality Loss Factors for Internal Crack of Slab

According to the online theoretical diagnosis and analysis about internal crack of slab,several important quality loss factors have been introduced into the mathematical model to calculate the relevant crack formation index,based on full consideration on the metallurgical restriction rules of slab continuous casting,and in terms of the heat-transfer status,mechanical behavior and steel grade property.Combined with the metallurgical characteristic of slab continuous casting process,both the numerical calculation method of the loss factors and their effects on quality defect have been obtained through the in-depth theoretical study,which have provided the necessary principle fundamental for development of the slab quality diagnosis model,and have good theoretical meaning and practical value.
