The paper introduces the principle of the Hough transform,and analyzes the theory of detecting the beeline based on the Hough transform,especially,detecting the centre and radius of a circle since the extended of the Hough transform.The Hough transform has peculiarity in detecting the geometrical property,it can transform the detection target to the parameter space from the target space,and it will avoid the complex arithmetic on the target classification and encoding in object space detection,therefore it makes the parameter measurement become simpler and easier to solve.
