Traffic Organization Scheme of Tangjiaqiao Rd-Jichang Rd Intersection in Wenzhou

In Wenzhou, traffic organization of rotary island is adopted for the tangjiaqiao Rd-Jichang Rd intersection where 5 trunk roads intersect. However, hidden trouble exists because of the continuous increasing traffic volume and conflicting traffic flows. Based on analysis of traffic situation in the intersection, introduced hereby is the application of rotary island combined with signal lamps to organize the traffic, which has improved traffic condition at the intersection and increased traffic capacity of the rotary intersection.
