Processing Technique of Sealskin Leahter

Based on the tissue structural feature of sealskin,the key points of processing the leather are drawn out as follows: eliminating the elastic fibres with pancreatin, using chemicals and machinery to eliminate the fat and oil from the skin, dehairing in a short float, heavy pickling over night,chrome tanning,retanning with syntan and polymer retaning agents. The finished leather is said to be very full and soft.
