交指型极板的质子交换膜燃料电池阴极模拟

摘    要:介绍了采用交指型极板的质子交换膜 (PEM )燃料电池的工作原理 ,通过建立电池阴极数学模型揭示了电极内部的气体是通过强迫对流进行传递 ,指出这一传质机理能加快气体的传递 ,从而提高电化学反应速率 ;比较了采用交指型极板与常规极板的PEM燃料电池的局部电流密度和伏安曲线大小 ,指出交指型极板可提高电池的局部电流密度和极限电流密度 ,从而改善电池性能 ;最后指出增大电池进出口压差、减小气体扩散电极厚度以及增加极板流道个数都可以进一步改善采用交指型极板的PEM燃料电池的性能。

Abstract:The mechanism of gas transport in the proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) with interdigitated flow field was studied by establishing a mathematical PEMFC model. The local current density and the voltammetry curves of PEMFCs with the interdigitated flow field and the conventional flow field were also compared. The results show that the forced convection in the interdigitated flow field can accelerate the gas transport rate and improve the electrochemical reaction rate hereby. The local current density and limit current density can be improved by adopting the interdigitated flow field, thus the PEMFC performance can be modified. The performance of PEMFC with interdigitated flow field can be further improved by increase the pressure difference at cell inlet and the flow channel as well as decreasing the thickness of gas diffuser.
