中国养蚕科技新进展

<正> 中国是世界蚕业发祥地。蚕丝是中国传统的出口商品,1990年创汇25亿美元,产茧47.5万吨,占世界总产量65％,生丝出口占国际市场90％以上,丝绸出口占45％左右,都占世界第一位。本文简述我国养蚕科技最新进展及其对蚕业生产发展所起的作用。

RECENT ADVANCE IN SERICULTURAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN CHINA

China is the motherland of world sericulture. This paper brieflyreviews the recent progress in sericultural researches. It offers the most importantcoverage of sericultural science and technology in China during the last years: si-lkworm genetics and breeding, silkworm ecology and rearing methods, silkwormpathology and disease control, silkworm physiology and biochemistry, silkwormembriology and ontogenesis, silkprotein biosynthesis and secretion, biotechnologyand genetic engineering in sericulture, multipurpose utilization of sericultural by-products, and the germplasm resources of silkworms in China. In addition, it gi-ves also a perspective of sericultural science in China.
