Abstract:This paper discusses the basic principles of optical fiber communication in substation,and analyzes the common faults of optical fiber communication system in Hubei 500 kV substation.To solve these problems,some relevant preventive measures for optical fiber communication are formulated which can provide reference for transformer substation construction and daily maintenance work.
