光纤技术发展及其在电力通信中的应用

摘    要:光纤技术是实现电力系统通信的有效方式。文章回顾了过去40多年光通信以及光纤技术的发展,总结了光纤的分类和各种光纤产品在电力通信中的应用。除了常规光纤外,随着光通信技术的发展,也出现很多新型光纤,如超低损耗光纤、大有效面积光纤、200μm小外径光纤等。这些光纤在衰减、有效面积、几何尺寸等方面进行了优化,以满足不同场景下的应用。文章详细探讨了这些新型光纤在电力通信中的应用,为国内智能电网的建设提供新的解决方案和新思路。

Development of Optical Fiber Technology and Its Application in Electric Power Communication

Abstract:Optical fiber communication provides an effective solution for power communication. This paper reviews the development of optical communication and fiber technologies in the past 40 years, and summarizes the application of optical fiber and fiber products in electric power communication. In addition to conventional optical fiber, with the development of optical comnaunication technology, there are many new fibers, such as ultra-low loss fiber, large effective area fiber and 200 um small diameter fiber. These fibers are optimized in the attenuation, the effective area, geometry size and so on, to satisfy the different application scenarios. The paper discusses the applications of these new fibers in power communication, to provide new solutions and new ideas for the domestic construction of smart grid.
