Abstract:The mathematical model of constant speed wind farm based on induction generator and static var compensator(SVC) were proposed respectively in this paper,a control model of SVC was built by Matlab/Simulink software.The model validity and the contribution of SVC to the voltage stability were verified by simulation of distribution system including asynchronous wind turbine.Research results show that SVC can effectively alleviate the wind turbine voltage fluctuations during some changes in wind speed.SVC control can improve voltage stability of wind farm and ensure the continuous operation of asynchronous wind turbines,and the security and stability of distribution network.
