Abstract:PD(partial discharge) of UHV substation HGIS is more serious than in EHV substation, on-line UHF partial discharge monitor which can detect inside partial discharge is used to analyze fault type and emergency degree by monitoring mappings. The point is judgment and decision from the mappings. Comprehensive analysis of three types of mappings can be more accurately to determine the type and critical level. The conclusion is that by distribution, phase, amplitude of PD single-cycle wave determines the type of PD; discharge magnitude and discharge times in point data of wave(POW) determines the severity of PD; judgement on developing trends of PD can be made based on one-day historical data.
