| Abstract: | Directional blasting is the common used scheme in demolishing chimneys and water towers. To ensure a reliable directional coUapse, flyrock defence as weU as mucpile control, the safety technique of chimney demolition by directional blasting is completely discussed, and the corresponding technical measures are taken and requirements are discussed. |
