| Abstract: | Catalysts of Mo-Te-Ce mixed oxides were prepared and the catalytic activity of the catalysts for selective oxidation of isobutene was measured. It was found that promoting CeO_2 content in the catalysts improved surface composition and surface acidity and increased the specific surface area of the catalysts. It was also found that formation of mixed oxide structure was helpful to prevent loss of element Te via volatilization. It is possible to develop a catalyst of commercial value with specially high thermostability to produce MAL. |
