Production of light-gauge galvanized strips

Problems associated with strip break, surface crease, poor appearance and flare opening were often encountered in galvanizing light_gauge strips with the galvanizing line at Nanfang Galvanized Sheet Co., when the line was for the first time put into operation. An optimal galvanization procedure for light_gauge strip, quite different from the conventional one, was then formulated based on an analysis of the moving character of the strip during its galvanization, and hence a successful process for producing high_quality galvanized strips was realized, and is summarized in the present discussion.
