| Abstract: | The cutting temperature experiments on milling inserts with different grooves are carried out. According to the cutting conditions, the boundary condition of finite element analysis on cutting temperature fields is established, and the three dimensional temperature fields of inserts with different grooves are analyzed by FEM. So as to offer a reference basis for the design and optimization of insert grooves. |
