| Abstract: | Colonization of areas of intestinal metaplasia by Helicobacter pylori is rare and there is only one report in the literature of this organism colonizing areas of intestinal metaplasia in the antral mucosa. We report two more cases where H. pylori were seen in the gastric pits with intestinal metaplastic changes in the antral biopsy specimens. |
