A TYPICAL DESIGN FOR NON-ATTENDED SUBSTATION

This Paper decribes a typical design for non attended substation. The main electric connection of substation is simplified. The structure of the substation is simple and rational because the great improvement has been made for the conventional secondary electric system and the central singnaling devices and conventional panels are abolished. Some substations built according to the typical design are operated in telecontrol mode and the correct rate of control is 100% since they put into operation, and their investment can be decreased by 5% to 10%. The land occupied by the whole substation is reduced.
