The Development of Characteristic Agriculture in Lvliang City

The agricultural development of Lvliang city is analyzed by SWOT analysis method. The agriculture advantages are confirmed as follows: characteristic agriculture pattern, characteristic agricultural product brand and authentication construction, and ecological environment. The agriculture disadvantages are as follows: weak conditions of natural resources, backward agricultural production conditions, and low traditional agricultural income. On the base of development opportunities and challenges in agriculture in Lvliang City, it is concluded that characteristic agriculture is the inevitable choice. In the end, some suggestions are put forward to develop characteristic agriculture, such as modernize agricultural information service system, cultivate leading enterprises, and build brand advantages.
