| Abstract: | The influence of scientific and technological progress and innovation on jewelry industry in the past few years has been expounded in this article. The influence presents in the following three aspects： Firstly, the progress of correlative computer technology. Secondly,improvement of gem processing technology and upgrade of the instrument and equipment for gem appraisal and gem synthesis. Thirdly, the proposal of the concept that jewelry appraisal should rely on more accurate, convenient and reliable equipment and technology. |
