| Abstract: | The general rules of communication design for distribution automation systems are put forward.Some possible communication technologies for distribution automatic systems are discussed.A hybrid communication system with two layers is suggested as an effective tool to implement distribution automation.A design on communication system for Xianyang distribution automation system is also given as an example. |
