| Abstract: | Based on the annual data of 1989-2008, through establishing the VAR （Vector Auto-regression） model of investment, consumption and exporting, using the methods of Granger tests, impulse response functions and variance decomposition etc. , the relationship between investment, consumption, exporting in Henan＇s economic system and economic growth is analyzed tentatively. The results indicate that economic growth model of Henan is investment-oriented, and the export has a distinct affect on economic growth, and the trend has continued to increase. On the other hand, consumption did not play its due role in economic growth. In the future, the government of Henan should transform its economic growth model, expand domestic demand and stimulate consumption. |
