Abstract: | Abstract. The frequency of oral infection complications after cytotoxic chemotherapy andradiochemotherapy is significant, often contributing to serious septic infectious complications. Generally, the more intense the cytotoxic therapy, the more common are the oral infection complications. In the present review, the spectrum of oral infections related to radiation and immunosuppressive therapy are evaluated and the different local and systemic treatment modalities are presented. |
