| Abstract: | The BEM for beams and plates on foundations proposed in the paper is different from the traditional BEM in the derivation of fundamental equations.In the new method,the boundary integral equation is found not to depend on fundamental solutions and the theorem of reciprocal work, but to be derived directly using the integral method. |
