PPLN倍频效率与温度关系分析

摘    要:本文研究了准位相匹配周期性极化铌酸锂(PPLN)晶体的体器件倍频特性与晶体温度的关系,从准相位匹配位相失配关系出发,推导了PPLN光栅周期和倍频效率的表达式,并考虑到铌酸锂晶体的热膨胀因素,给出了温度调谐带宽精确表达式,理论分析与已有实验结果进行了比较,符合得较好。

Abstract:Considering the sensitivity of the refractive index to the temperature in PPLN and the thermal expansion character of the LiNbO 3 crystal,the grating period expression and the temperature dependency characterization of quasi phase matched second harmonic generation (QPM SHG) bulk devices fabricated in Z cut LiNbO 3 crystal are theoretically analyzed.The results show that the max conversion efficiency of SHG can be obtaied by tuning the temperature in the PPLN to approach the center temperature.The relations between the temperature tuning bandwidth and the interactive length and the fundamental wavelength are also given.The theoretical results fit well to many author's experimental achievements.
