翻译过程与语篇语境动态构建

在翻译过程中,语境起着重要作用。但是静态语境观将翻译看作“成品”而非“过程”,仅仅强调研究语境对理解源语语篇的影响,忽视研究语境对的语语篇生成的作用。从动态语篇语境的观点来看,翻译是一个以语篇为单位、从源语语篇理解向的语语篇的生成转换过程,这一过程可以通过动态构建源语语篇语境和的语语篇语境来实现。

Translating Process and the Dynamic Construction of the SLD and TLD Contexts

People all know that context plays an important role in the translation. But static context regards translation as "a product", not "a process", and emphasis always goes to the influence of context clues upon the comprehension of the source language discourse(SLD), while no due attention is given to context's impact on the formation of the target language discourse(TLD). According to the theory of dynamic discourse context, this article holds that translating is a process of transformation, which, on the basis of discourse unit, goes from the comprehension of the SLD to the formation of the TLD. The translating process is accomplished when the transformation is realized through the dynamic construction of the SLD context and the TLD context.
