Power Control and Cross-layer Optimization in Ad Hoc Network

The power of wireless node is limited,so how to utilize the energy efficiently and how to improve the performance of network are the key topics in the research of wireless Ad Hoc network.Power control adopting cross-layer optimization has the advantages of developing present resources efficiently and improving the network performance.The meaning and action of power control in wireless Ad Hoc network are proposed.Then power control in the MAC layer,in the network layer,and in the united-layer adopting cross-layer optimization are discussed.At last,some promising problem deserving of further study is presented.
