| Abstract: | A new method of coating ammonium nitrate (AN) by nitrocellulose (NC) is presented. Based on the investigation of coating conditions and the factors influencing on the coating quality, a preferred technological condition is worked out. Experimental results indicate that the evenly coated product is good in quality, less susceptible to humidity and caking, and the impact sensitivity is somewhat decreased as well. |
