Abstract:The method and related conditions of determining the elements contents in aluminium-zinc series wrought aluminium alloy by ray flu- orescence spectrometry is described. The X-ray fluorescence spectrometry method has been developed for the determination of ten elements (Cu, Mn, Fe, Si, Zn, Ni, Cr, Ti and Zr) in aluminium-zinc series wrought aluminium alloy with using Al-Zn-Mg-Cu series al series alloy as stan- dard samples which is from Russia BPI)IC Company. The matrix effect is corrected by fundamental parameter method. The results are in agreement with those from chemical method with a RSD of 0.18%-3.08% (n=10). This method has many advantages, such as simple pretreatment, little distur- bances, rapid and accurate, etc.
