Application Analysis of Cone Penetration Test Based on European and American Standards |

| Abstract: | It introduces the contents of the application of static penetration test and the inversion of geotechnical parameters in FHWA related survey manual. By the method of determining the name of soil layer and related physical and mechanical indexes through the test indexes, and combined with foreign engineering application and comparative studies of some problems, the results show that the modified SPT blow count and soil shear wave velocity calculated by CPT index are in good agreement with other tests. For the undrained shear strength and the effective internal friction angle of soil, some necessary corrections should be made based on certain number of statistical analyses in line with regional experience. |
