| Abstract: | This article elaborates on the strengthening of the programming of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, earthquake safety evaluation, earthquake emergency relief and rescue competence as well as the strengthening of public consciousness in earthquake prevention and disaster reduction. It reveals the relationship between urban development and earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, and emphasizes the extreme significance of building safe communities against earthquakes. |
