Abstract:The article describes the deep geothermal characteristics in the Eastern District of Zhengzhou City.The deep geothermal resources can be divided into three layers.The first is the geothermal reservoir with burial depth of 320 ~ 850m which the heat reservoir lithology is the fine sand layer of Neogene and the average thickness of the thermal energy storage is 1553.m with the heat reservoir temperature 33℃,the temperature gradient 2.5 ~ 3.5 ℃/100m.The second is the burial depth of 850 ~ 1200m which the heat reservoir lithology of the Neogene is the sand,fine sand layer,the total thickness of the thermal energy storage 86 ~ 187m,thermal energy storage temperature of 45℃,temperature gradient 27.~ 3.6 ℃/100m.The third is the 1200 ~ 2000 m burial depth which the reservoir lithology is mainly Neogene fine sand,a small amount of sand,total thickness of thermal energy storage about 150m,thermal energy storage temperature of 56 ℃,temperature gradient 2.9 ℃/100m.The article also provides some advice for reasonable exploitation and protection of geothermal resources.
