| Abstract: | This paper describes the screwdown auto-control system of a pilger seamless tube mill which is composed of screw- down motor, frequency converter, PLC and absolute encoder. The author introduces the screwdown technology and equipment, espe- clally the hardware configuration and the application program design of the draught controlling system. It is proved that the presented system realizes the high efficiency and accurate control of the screwdown mechanism of the pilger seamless tube mill. |
