| Abstract: | Combined with the wide application of gravel pile the working mechanism of gravel pile in soft soil foundation reinforcement is discussed as well as its actions in drainage consolidation.The design process of gravel pile is introduced in detail.In the end author points out the application of gravel pile is simple,economic and practicable method for soft soil foundation treatment,which is good method especially for shallow soft soil base. |
