| Abstract: | Some problems in excitation system of synchronous generators are briefly analyzed in this paper, such as the weigh of importance between reliability and control performance in excitation system, the excitation devices under strengthened power system network construction, the design of microcomputer based excitation regulator for various generating sets with deferent capacity, the influence of power network automation on excitation devices, the de excitation breaker system and the residual voltage starting of self unit terminal excitation system. Otherwise, some suggestions for trade management are put forward. |
