| Abstract: | A new approach is used for a frequency modulated Exciter: Modulation is accomplished through use of semiconductor capacitive diodes. The AFC System makes use of a counter-type discriminator to stabilize center frequency. A magnetic amplifier is utilized as stable, high gain dc amplifier in the AFC loop. These three novel approaches lead to a simplified reliable equipment. |
